CE MARKING

The Conformité Européene (CE) Mark is defined as the European Union’s (EU) mandatory conformity marking for regulating the goods sold within the European Economic Area (EEA) since 1985. The CE marking represents a manufacturer’s declaration that products comply with the EU’s New Approach Directives. These directives not only apply to products within the EU but also for products that are manufactured in or designed to be sold in the EEA. This makes the CE marking recognizable worldwide even to those unfamiliar with the EEA.

Lift Directive - (95/16/EC)

This directive includes the security devices used in buildings, constructions and the ones mentioned in appendix-IV. Even though they don’t move on rails without elasticity, the elevators moving on a steady line is also included in this directive (ex: scissor elevators) If some or all of the risks in this directive is included for the elevators, this directive will not be applied to these kinds of elevators or its application will be cancelled.

 

Machinery Directive - (2006/42/EC)

2006/42/EC Machinery Certification Includes machinery and security parts. Besides these, this directive also includes the security devices used to prevent the potential damages machinery or security parts could give which could threaten human health or security.

 

Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive - (2004/108/AT)

Purpose of EMC directive; is to provide that radiocommunication and electrical/electronic devices are produced, certified, marked and supplied to the market properly by ensuring that certain standards and regulations are made for them to operate with normal electromagnetic level so that they prevent either other devices or themselves from a breakdown.

 

Voltage Directive - (2006/95/AT)

includes the electrical equipment designed for usage of alternative flow of 50-1000 volts, and for straight flow between 75-1000 volts.

Pressure Equipment Directive - (97/23/EC)

includes the design, production and compatibility evaluation principles of pressure equipment which maximum permittable PS pressure is more than 0,5 bar.

Construction Equipment Directive - (305/2011/AB)

The material used in the construction activities (all or separate parts) should be compatible to perform the activities aimed and with this perspective should be compatible with the issues mentioned below if they are subject to these obligative regulations.
